Admission Criteria
- Required Marks
- Strong “B” Average or better
- Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) scores for 7th grade are Advanced or Proficient
- No negative disciplinary reports
- 10 or less unexcused absences or latenesses
- An audition or presentation of a portfolio is required of students interested in one of the arts majors
- 9th Grade Applications
- The subject and behavior comments from the last report card period of 7th grade as shown in the appropriate sections of the Student Data Transcript
- Additional Criteria for Admission
- Applicants are to select only one program on the High School Admissions Form. The selection should be indicated under “Programs” as shown below.
229A – Art *
229Y – College Prep
229B – Computer Science
229D – Dance *
229E – Business Admin.
229H – Medical Assistance
229M – Instrumental Music *
229V – Vocal Music *
